RV Rentals

Connecticut RV Rentals GetRV.com would like to welcome you to Connecticut, where the average per capita annual income ranks the highest in the nation. But that isn’t the only richness you’ll find here. Connecticut is rich with beauty, culture, and activities throughout the four seasons. Broken up into five major regions, one can certainly take advantage of them all by RVing through the state. In the Fairfield, Southwest region you can view some of the manicured mansions of the Greenwich residents. Nature-lovers will want to visit the Maritime Aquarium or the Audubon Center of Greenwich, where adults and children can enjoy nature programs, exhibits, displays, and a nature gift shop. Along the seaside of Fairfield you can dine at any of the marinas and restaurants after spending a day at one of the nearby beaches that feature activities like softball, volleyball, fishing, kayaking, and even mini-golfing. After some fun in the sun, drive on over to the South Central region of New Haven. Sign up for a walking tour of historic Yale University. There are also numerous museums featuring colonial documents, artifacts, and furnishings dating back to the 17th century. Catching a bite to eat may literally be the thing to do after some great outdoor hiking. You can park your RV at one of the state parks or view other Connecticut RV Park options like Sleeping Giant State Park, Hammonasset State Park, or Wadsworth Falls State Park, and cast your line! Then head on Eastward toward Mystic. Mystic Seaport and Mystic Aquarium have a lot in store for maritime history buffs and sea-creature lovers. Feel what it’s like to walk along the planks of historic tall ships situated near a recreated 19th century coastal village. The aquarium offers you a chance to come nose-to-nose with beluga whales and seals while also viewing 3500 other sea creatures on your ocean journey. You can even view a 30,000-gallon coral reef exhibit. When you’re ready to get your own feet wet, tour along the 7-mile stretch of pristine, white-sand beaches of Misquamicut. Soak up the sun while you take the kids to the many fun activities provided there such as amusement parks, batting cages, go-carts, mini-golf, and lots more. Seeing the state in a Class “A” RV is easy, convenient and economical. Then feast the family on native lobsters, steamers, and swordfish. When the kids are ready to retire from a full day of fun, the adults can take advantage of the exciting nightlife located between Mystic and Newport. Want some pizzazz, try your luck at the famous Foxwood Resort Casino, loaded with table games, slots, entertainment, restaurants, and more. If you want to retreat to a hide-away location, then move Northwest to Litchfield. Lose yourself along the beautiful hills and riversides near the Berkshire Mountains, where the pace is calm. Grab your gear and go trout fishing in the Housatonic River, or take some time to shop in the village for Colonial antiques. The spring and fall seasons are a wonderful time to visit here and experience nature’s colors and seeing it in an RV rented through GetRV.com will make it so memorable. Then take your RV and drive along the central part of Connecticut through the capital city, Hartford, all the way up to the border of Massachusetts. On this journey you can visit numerous points of interest, fine museums, and cultural performances. How about seeing Mark Twain’s eccentric home or taking a ride on an old steam train. RVing will allow you to travel along interstate highways 95, 91, and 84 to get to your desired spot without the hassle of finding a place to sleep.
